Why shops need air conditioning
Shop fronts, lighting and footfall make retail spaces hard to keep comfortable.
Staff comfort
Staff on their feet all day in a hot shop get tired fast.
Stock protection
Some stock, from chocolate to cosmetics, is sensitive to heat.
What we usually recommend
Retail installs usually use:
- Ceiling cassettes for open shop floors
- Wall-mounted units for smaller units and stockrooms
- Ducted systems where the fit-out needs to stay clean
- Out-of-hours installs to avoid closing the shop
